About this product

Embroidered-Face Plush

There are three ways to put a face on a plush toy. Embroider it, print it, or attach separate moulded parts. Only one of them survives being loved.

Printed features sit on top of a pile that moves, so they crack along the fold lines and fade in the wash. Attached parts — plastic eyes, moulded noses — look sharp and are the first thing to come off, which matters enormously if the toy is going anywhere near a small child.

Embroidery is thread through fabric. It moves with the pile, it does not crack, it survives a washing machine, and there is nothing to detach. It costs more per unit because it is stitch time, and it is the only face we will put on a toy intended for children.

FAQ

Embroidered-Face Plush: quick answers

What is the minimum order for embroidered plush?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Why not just print the face?
Because the surface is a moving pile. Print sits on top of it, so it cracks along every fold and fades in the first wash. On a toy that gets carried and squeezed daily that is a matter of weeks, not years.
Can we have plastic eyes?
We would rather not, and we will say why before you decide. Moulded eyes look sharper and they are an attachment, and attachments come off. On anything intended for a small child we will only embroider.
